[drum roll, pleeeeasseee!]
...it's OFFICIAL. on friday, beau accepted the position with notre dame!

he will finish school remotely and start his new fancy-schmancy position on march 28th. i'm so stinking proud of him! but, yes...that's right...three weeks to pack our life into cardboard boxes, find a place to live, and...MOVE! we've been packing since saturday and i've come to the conclusion that i would rather UN-pack 20 houses then pack one! this is not my cup of tea, especially since the hus is busy trying to finish up school work and work-work before we leave and has no time for anything right now [blaah!]. however, he has been bringing up boxes from the garage on a daily basis, so i guess i can't complain. thanks, beau ;)
